The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Datsik stuffs the takedown attempt from Martin. Martin gets slowly back to his feet.
Datsik scores with a jab. Martin acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Datsik swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Martin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Datsik looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Martin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Datsik wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Martin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Datsik, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
