Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Enrique Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksi Hihnavaara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mendez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Juno Reactor - Pistolero. Hihnavaara has chosen Slayed as his entrance music. Aleksi Hihnavaara acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aleksi Hihnavaara!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez throws an overhand right that lands on Hihnavaara's shoulder, as Hihnavaara tries to avoid the shot.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hihnavaara lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mendez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mendez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Mendez misses the jab.
Hihnavaara gets the takedown into side control.
Hihnavaara tries to advance to mount but Mendez denies him.
Mendez is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hihnavaara has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Hihnavaara wants to control but Mendez is keeping him busy.
Hihnavaara has an Americana. Mendez didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hihnavaara is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hihnavaara hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Aleksi Hihnavaara!
