PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Paquiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brij Khali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khali has chosen Masters of Mixed Martial Arts as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khali misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Paquiao lands the left hand.
Khali throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Khali looks to score with a jab to the body but Paquiao is just out of range.
Paquiao uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Khali.

Khali takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Paquiao lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brij Khali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paquiao defending well as Khali loads up on a big left hand.
Khali takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Paquiao lands with an uppercut that bounces Khali off the cage and back into rage.
Paquiao dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Paquiao connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Khali's hands.
Khali swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Paquiao really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Paquiao lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Paquiao, as that shot connected.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Khali moves forwards but Paquiao connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Khali takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Paquiao wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Paquiao is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Paquiao bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Khali's head backwards.
The fighters circle momentarily. Paquiao darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Khali drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Paquiao scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Khali doesn't seem bothered though.
Khali takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Khali needs to keep his hands up - Paquiao had a free shot at his head there.
Paquiao bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Khali walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Paquiao scores with a decent looking hook.
Paquiao scores with a one two! Khali had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Khali is rocked!
Paquiao cracks Khali on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Khali falls backwards against the cage. Paquiao follows up with more strikes that drop Khali to his knees. Paquiao keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Khali! This one is all over!
