The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yankuba stalks Moreno and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Moreno's face. Moreno staggers backwards, shaken.
Moreno is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Yankuba's half guard.
Yankuba trying to control but Moreno postures up.
Moreno is trying to control the action in half guard but Yankuba is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Moreno frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Yankuba wants to control but Moreno is having none of it.

Yankuba gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Moreno is keen to just control but Yankuba is a slippery customer.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Yankuba wants to control but Moreno is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Moreno shoots in but Yankuba avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A slow jab from Yankuba misses its intended target.

Moreno drops back looking for a leg! Yankuba is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yankuba manages to kick Moreno off! Moreno jumps back into Yankuba's guard.

Moreno stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yankuba swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Moreno seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Yankuba does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Moreno tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yankuba sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Moreno somewhat.

Moreno shoots in looking for a takedown. Yankuba tries to sprawl out of it but Moreno keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yankuba manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Moreno shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Moreno was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Moreno bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yankuba's guard.
Yankuba is trying to keep Moreno in close.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Moreno accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Moreno drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Yankuba dives on top into guard.
Moreno wants to sweep but no luck.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
