And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves closes the distance and clinches up with Silver, looking for a takedown. Alves pushes Silver against the cage but Silver circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Alves.
Silver gets the takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Alves's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Silver goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Alves rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Silver's guard! Nice work there by Alves!
Alves would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Silver pushes a forearm under Alves's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Alves is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
