Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark van Bommel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rhajit Zemenov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). van Bommel comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica-Battery . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
van Bommel leaves Zemenov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Zemenov fails with the takedown.
Zemenov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mark van Bommel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rhajit Zemenov.
van Bommel lands a jab to the nose.
Zemenov tries for a takedown but van Bommel sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Zemenov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around van Bommel's waist but van Bommel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zemenov off to one side.
Horrible takedown by Zemenov or perhaps it was just good defense by van Bommel which made him look bad.
Zemenov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. van Bommel defends it nicely.
van Bommel stuffs the takedown attempt from Zemenov. Zemenov gets slowly back to his feet.

van Bommel wants to stand up but Zemenov is controlling him.
van Bommel kicks Zemenov off and gets to his feet.
Zemenov dives in and grabs van Bommel's left leg, looking for a takedown. van Bommel pushes down on Zemenov's head and hops out.
Zemenov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Zemenov wants to work for an arm triangle but van Bommel is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Zemenov looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
van Bommel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if van Bommel tries to get out of the position.
van Bommel tries to kick Zemenov off but Zemenov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
van Bommel won't allow Zemenov to pass to mount.
Zemenov prevents van Bommel from standing back up.
Zemenov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but van Bommel sees it coming and defends easily.
van Bommel pushes Zemenov off and gets back to his feet.

van Bommel has closed the distance and engaged Zemenov in a clinch.
van Bommel drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Zemenov gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Zemenov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. van Bommel smiles and moves away.
van Bommel misses with a double jab.
van Bommel lands a lovely overhand right.
Zemenov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Zemenov lands in his opponent's guard.
van Bommel has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Zemenov off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

van Bommel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
No luck for Zemenov with that takedown attempt.
van Bommel tries to bum rush Zemenov with a series of wild strikes but Zemenov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rhajit Zemenov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and van Bommel counters with a left to the body.

van Bommel fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Zemenov on the side of the head.
van Bommel scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Zemenov doesn't seem bothered though.
van Bommel's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and van Bommel duly obliges.
Zemenov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

A jab from van Bommel finds it's way through Zemenov's defenses.

A punch lands to the side of Zemenov 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Zemenov is rocked!
Zemenov bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! van Bommel comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Zemenov falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Zemenov was out before he hit the floor!
