Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Mankiw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Quid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Quid!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mankiw misses with a wild body shot.
Mankiw with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Quid to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Gregory Mankiw has been cut.
Quid fails to land with a series of punches.
A punch lands to the side of Quid 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Quid, right into the meat.
Quid wants to clinch up but Mankiw keeps it at a distance.
Mankiw circles away from the clinch attempt.
Quid displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Mankiw misses with a body shot.
Good leg kick by Quid there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Mankiw throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mankiw takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mankiw throws a jab when Quid was well out of range.
Mankiw looks to land a left hand but Quid moved out of range nicely.
Mankiw misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Quid cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A lazy left from Quid finds it's target.

Quid has taken the fight to the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Mankiw.
Mankiw throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Quid prevents a body shot from Mankiw.
Quid lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Quid misses with a hook from the clinch.
Quid lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Mankiw is rocked!
Quid misses with the head strike.
Oh Mankiw is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Quid blocks an uppercut.

Quid pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mankiw ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Quid tests Mankiw's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Quid throws an overhand right that has Mankiw reeling! Quid follows up with more punches and Mankiw is out cold! This one is all over!
