Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vvierme Llamer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Suraski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Llamer's entrance music is Prodigy - Spitfire. A fine choice. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Llamer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Suraski throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Llamer shoots for a takedown but Suraski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Suraski looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
No luck for Llamer with that takedown attempt.
Llamer is looking to clinch.
Llamer tries to close the distance and clinch but Suraski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Llamer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Suraski feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Llamer seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Suraski is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Llamer is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Llamer has escaped and now he's on top!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Suraski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Llamer tries to clinch but Suraski moves out of range.
Llamer lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Llamer.

It looks like Dave Suraski has been cut.
Suraski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Llamer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Vvierme Llamer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Suraski.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Llamer connects with a nice short shot to Suraski's temple.
Suraski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Llamer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Llamer's back!
Dave Suraski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Llamer tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Llamer is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Suraski unloads with some shots from mount but Llamer bucks and avoids them well.
Vvierme Llamer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Llamer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Suraski pulls his head out easily.

I think Suraski has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
