Knepp is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Amish Paradise. Jebidiah Knepp has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Akira Kazama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jebidiah Knepp!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Knepp does no damage.
Knepp fails with the takedown.
Kazama scores with a sloppy right hand. Knepp should have avoided that one.
Knepp shoots for a double leg takedown but Kazama sprawls well. He's pushed Knepp's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kazama stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Knepp shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kazama napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Knepp goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kazama rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Knepp's guard! Nice work there by Kazama!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
