Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Senior KneeBum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Lontrame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lontrame is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rocket Skates by The Deftones. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lontrame closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
KneeBum is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
KneeBum defending against the ground and pound.
KneeBum can't do much from the bottom here.
KneeBum is trying to get back to half guard.
KneeBum gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Lontrame is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and KneeBum defends it well.
Lontrame prevents KneeBum from improving his position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
KneeBum tries for a takedown but Lontrame circles away easily

and Lontrame counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Lontrame escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
KneeBum misses with a takedown attempt

and Lontrame counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends KneeBum down! Lontrame is looking to finish but KneeBum is intelligently defending himself.

KneeBum is rocked!
Lontrame working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Lontrame trying to control but KneeBum is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lontrame postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
KneeBum is breathing heavily.

KneeBum working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lontrame doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lontrame manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Lontrame scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lontrame is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Lontrame stays in close to KneeBum's body and controls the position.
Let's hope that Lontrame has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
KneeBum has his foot on Lontrame's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lontrame works his way back into a safe position though.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lontrame's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lontrame is pushing down on KneeBum's leg trying to pass to half guard. KneeBum is fighting to maintain full guard but Lontrame has managed to sneak the leg through.
KneeBum is looking for a sweep. Lontrame is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Lontrame drops an elbow to the side of KneeBum's head.
Lontrame has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Lontrame takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Lontrame has hold of KneeBum's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and KneeBum manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Lontrame lands a nice shot to the head.
Lontrame cracks KneeBum with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Lontrame lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Lontrame can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as KneeBum is looking to escape.

KneeBum is looking to improve his position but Lontrame isn't that keen on the idea.
Lontrame takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lontrame cracks KneeBum with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Lontrame wants to control the pace but KneeBum is squirming around nicely.

Lontrame throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! KneeBum has his hands clasped together but Lontrame breaks the hold and KneeBum is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Lontrame!
