Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ginokai Kai Gi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Graham Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Graham Brown!
The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kai Gi's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kai Gi looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Brown content to stall in guard here.
Brown's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Kai Gi has his foot on Brown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brown works his way back into a safe position though.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Brown's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Brown stands and steps away. Kai Gi gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kai Gi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Brown counters with a single leg into guard. Kai Gi didn't expect that.
Brown slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kai Gi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kai Gi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Brown defends well.
Brown controls from within his opponent's guard.
Kai Gi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground.
Kai Gi working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Brown has passed into half guard!
Kai Gi is breathing heavily.
Kai Gi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Brown pulls his head out easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Nice strikes from Brown there.
Well, if Brown is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Brown lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Kai Gi looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Kai Gi is in trouble now - Brown has advanced to mount!
Kai Gi is in a horrible position here. Brown smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Kai Gi is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kai Gi is trying to reverse the position but instead Brown has taken his back - oops!
Brown has got one arm under Kai Gi's chin. This could be trouble... Kai Gi trying to control the other hand but Brown gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Kai Gi has tapped out! The fight is over!
