Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Estrada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby TupperII (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Estrada comes to the cage accompanied by Alice in Chains - Man In The Box . Bobby TupperII has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jose Estrada's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Estrada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bobby TupperII!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Estrada wants to clinch.

TupperII stands up and waves to Estrada to follow him.

Estrada fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but TupperII avoids it really well and circles away.
TupperII lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by TupperII.

TupperII shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Estrada's guard.

TupperII drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Estrada manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now TupperII has Estrada in his guard.

TupperII bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Estrada's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

TupperII decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Estrada is breathing heavily.
Estrada shoots for a takedown but TupperII saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Estrada. That's going to take a lot out of him.
TupperII throws a series of punches but Estrada moves out of range.

TupperII pushes Estrada up against the cage in a clinch.
TupperII jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Estrada walks away with a smile on his face. TupperII gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

TupperII drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

TupperII has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Estrada swings and misses with a hook to the body.
TupperII tries to clinch

and Estrada counters with a nice double leg into side control. TupperII won't be happy with that.
TupperII dodges the ground and pound from Estrada.
TupperII gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

TupperII makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Estrada tries to close the distance and clinch but TupperII swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Estrada takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
TupperII leaves Estrada with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
TupperII lands with a slapping head kick.
TupperII works over Estrada's head and body with a nice combination.

TupperII closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Estrada escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

TupperII closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - TupperII lands in his opponent's guard.

Estrada has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but TupperII can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

TupperII wants to take a breather but Estrada is having none of it.
TupperII is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
TupperII is keen to just control but Estrada is a slippery customer.

Well TupperII has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
