Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Johnsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamal Quik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnsson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kashmir - Led Zeppelin. Quik has chosen Zro ft. Devin the Dude - Hit'em with the Mule (Ratatatat Remix) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnsson misses with an uppercut.

Johnsson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Quik tries to hold on but Johnsson pushes him away.

Johnsson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Johnsson lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Quik hang on?

Johnsson goes for an armbar but Quik turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Quik.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Johnsson throws a hook to the side of Quik's head but Quik sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Johnsson, as that shot connected.
Quik fails to land with a series of punches.

Quik goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Johnsson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Quik sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Johnsson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Quik as he avoids it easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Johnsson is defended easily by Quik.
Johnsson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Quik manages to avoid it.
Gunnar Johnsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quik with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Quik throws a solid leg kick but Johnsson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Quik.

Quik lands a left and a right that send Johnsson crashing to the mat, dazed. Quik thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Johnsson is rocked!

It looks like Gunnar Johnsson has been cut.
Quik dances in with a quick combination. Johnsson is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Quik snaps Johnsson's head back. Johnsson stumbles backwards against the cage. Quik steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Johnsson's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Johnsson just didn't come prepared.
