Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paul Kositzky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Le Tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kositzky comes into the arena with Schwarz zu Blau blaring out of the sound system. Le Tank has chosen The Trooper as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the ring it seems that Paul Kositzky has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Paul Kositzky seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hank Le Tank!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kositzky tries to score a power double leg takedown but Le Tank sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kositzky somewhat.

Kositzky shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Le Tank is pulling down on Kositzky's head. It's preventing any offense from Kositzky, at least for the moment.

Le Tank wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Hank Le Tank.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kositzky has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Le Tank clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Kositzky keeps control of the position as Le Tank tries to break free.

Le Tank throws the kick towards the body but Kositzky avoids it.

Kositzky lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kositzky.

Le Tank wriggles free and stands up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Le Tank scores with a nice head shot.
Kositzky ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Le Tank has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Le Tank wants to sweep but no luck.
Le Tank is looking to stand up but Kositzky isn't so interested in that idea.
Le Tank lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kositzky!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Kositzky's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Kositzky gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kositzky looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Kositzky shoots in and bounces Le Tank off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Le Tank looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Kositzky not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Le Tank pulls Kositzky in close to prevent any damage.
Le Tank looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kositzky is one step ahead there.
Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kositzky postures up.
Le Tank has his hands on Kositzky's head, controlling the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Le Tank is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Le Tank wants to control from the top but Kositzky keeps moving.
Kositzky looking to control.
Le Tank is looking to work some ground and pound but Kositzky has wrist control.
Le Tank trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Le Tank working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kositzky's head.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Le Tank is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Le Tank throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kositzky's waist but Kositzky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Le Tank off to one side.

Le Tank decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Le Tank wants to take a breather but Kositzky is having none of it.

Kositzky pushes Le Tank off and gets back to his feet.
Le Tank shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kositzky but Kositzky pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Le Tank takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Kositzky fails with the takedown.
Hank Le Tank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Le Tank misses with a combination
and Kositzky counters with a stiff right hand.
Decent striking displayed by Kositzky there.
Paul Kositzky is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Kositzky closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Le Tank tries to buck Kositzky off but Kositzky is having none of it.
Hank Le Tank has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paul Kositzky.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kositzky, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
