The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hong scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Costa doesn't seem bothered though.
Hong stuns Costa with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Costa is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Costa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hong sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Costa drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Costa working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Hong is trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Costa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Costa is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hong has escaped the position, nice work there.
Hong is looking for a sweep.
Hong is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Costa tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Hong tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hong thuds his right hand into Costa's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Hong throws a shot to the body.
Hong scores with a sloppy right hand. Costa should have avoided that one.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hong throws a monster overhand right that drops Costa! Hong follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
