The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomcik scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Tomcik thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Houzo if he has to take too many more of those.
Tomcik lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Tomcik throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Houzo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Houzo avoids the head kick by Tomcik.
Good work by Houzo as he checks the leg kick.

Houzo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tomcik pinned against the cage. Tomcik gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kamil Tomcik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maek Houzo.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Houzo might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Tomcik has got the better of the exchanges.

Houzo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tomcik is fending him off so far but Houzo persists. Nope, Tomcik circles away and we're back to standing.

Houzo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Kamil Tomcik is winning the standup battle so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Houzo is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Tomcik engages and cracks Houzo with a massive lead left hook - Houzo tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Tomcik is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
