Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hercules Belvedere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Digger Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belvedere comes to the cage accompanied by Lupe Fiasco - Superstar. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Digger Murray was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray stuffs the takedown attempt from Belvedere. Belvedere gets slowly back to his feet.

Belvedere shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Murray's guard.
Murray is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Belvedere wants to control from the top but Murray keeps moving.
Belvedere tries to free his leg and advance position but Murray is retaining full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Murray swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Murray stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Murray wants it to stay on the feet.
Murray throws a leg kick which misses Belvedere's front leg but catches the back leg as Belvedere tries to avoid it.
Murray misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Belvedere slips a jab and a cross from Murray.

Belvedere avoids a punch combination nicely.
Murray misses with a series of wild punches.

That was a close round but I would say that Hercules Belvedere will probably get the nod.

Belvedere shoots in and drives through. Murray sprawls well.
Belvedere shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Murray but Murray pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Murray throws a low kick but it's checked well by Belvedere.
Murray is looking to land body kicks.
Murray misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Murray throws a nice looking combination but Belvedere bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Murray throws an overhand right that lands on Belvedere's shoulder, as Belvedere tries to avoid the shot.

Murray attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Belvedere takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Murray fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Murray throws a right hand that Belvedere ducks under and follows up with a left that Belvedere also avoids with ease.
Belvedere tries to score a power double leg takedown but Murray sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Belvedere somewhat.
Belvedere looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Murray is fending him off so far but Belvedere persists. Nope, Murray circles away and we're back to standing.
Murray rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Belvedere moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Belvedere closes the distance and clinches up with Murray, looking for a takedown. Belvedere pushes Murray against the cage but Murray circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hercules Belvedere is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Murray will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Murray throws a solid leg kick but Belvedere takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Murray.

Belvedere shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Belvedere was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Belvedere takes Murray's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Murray is in trouble.
A lull in the action here.
Murray really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belvedere. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Belvedere has his arm under Murray's chin here. Game over son! Belvedere squeezes tightly and Murray is forced to tap out!
