Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Per Fekt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fekt comes to the cage accompanied by Jerry Cotton. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fekt slips a jab and a cross from Hall.
Hall shoots in looking for a takedown. Fekt tries to sprawl out of it but Hall keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fekt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
James Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some wild striking there from Hall.
Hall shoots in but no luck this time.
Hall misses with a leg kick.
Fekt fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fekt takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fekt looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hall fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Fekt checks it well.
Fekt shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Fekt was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hall is desperately trying to improve his position but Fekt has a good base and remains in mount.

Fekt is trying to maintain a safe position but Hall gets an underhook and turns Fekt into the cage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Fekt is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hall is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

and Fekt decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hall's guard.
Fekt sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hall's guard.

Hall makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hall.

Hall isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Fekt stacks Hall on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Fekt!
Fekt wants to control but Hall is keeping him busy.

Fekt is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hall knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The referee asks Fekt politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Fekt prefers to stall for the moment though.
Hall is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Fekt off and has taken his back!

Hall is trying to stick to Fekt's back but Fekt is turning into Hall. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hall's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Fekt.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Fekt wants to clinch up but Hall keeps it at a distance.

and Hall counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fekt's guard now.
Hall is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fekt is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fekt has escaped and now he's on top!

Hall working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fekt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fekt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
