The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams misses with a head kick.
Adams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McFly crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Adams - the referee stops the clock and McFly gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Adams. McFly manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Adams lets loose with a powerful body kick. McFly will feel that in the morning.
McFly shoots and misses
and Adams counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Adams tries to clinch there but McFly circles away.

Adams is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McFly.
Adams throws a shot from downtown. McFly moves away and avoids it.

John Adams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

John Adams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! McFly's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Adams lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
McFly throws a looping overhand right but Adams ducks down to avoid it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McFly accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
McFly got a little sloppy there for a moment and Adams has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McFly has managed to get both his arms back between Adams's legs - danger averted.
McFly postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Adams is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of McFly, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adams has gone for a leg lock! McFly slips out almost immediately though and dives into Adams's guard.

Adams working for a triangle but McFly defends it easily.
McFly throws a strike but Adams rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

John Adams is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
McFly stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Adams swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Adams is trying to control the position from the bottom.
