Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barney Phife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phife's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fernandinho - Mais Alto. Davis has chosen Deftones - Beware as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Davis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Phife ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Davis moves away.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Phife, as that shot connected.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Phife postures up in Davis's guard and throws a big left but Davis blocks it.
Davis wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Phife manages to pass to side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
