And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tatsuya Oshiro!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oshiro walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Koltun checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Oshiro throws a head kick but Koltun moves out of range.
Oshiro misses with a head kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Oshiro. That's going to slow Koltun down.
Koltun avoids the head kick by Oshiro.
Koltun blocks a head kick by Oshiro.
Oshiro looks for the body kick but Koltun saw that one coming.

Oshiro throws a leg kick but Koltun sees it coming and checks it nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Koltun is defended easily by Oshiro.

Oshiro tries to score with a low kick but Koltun moves his leg out of the way.
Koltun bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Oshiro's head.

Koltun throws a hook but Oshiro avoids it easily.
Koltun missing with a left hand there. Oshiro was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Oshiro throws a chopping leg kick but Koltun manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Oshiro tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oshiro pushes Koltun away with a front kick.

Koltun shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Oshiro manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Koltun stays in close to Oshiro's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oshiro is looking to stand up but Koltun isn't so interested in that idea.
Koltun slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Koltun is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Oshiro will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Oshiro wants to get back to his feet.
Oshiro is trying to escape the position but Koltun is controlling the position.
Oshiro is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Koltun is controlling him well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Konrad Koltun.

Tatsuya Oshiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Koltun is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Oshiro.

and Koltun counters with a nice double leg into side control. Oshiro won't be happy with that.

Koltun tries to score with some ground and pound. Oshiro controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Oshiro's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Koltun is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Koltun throws a hook to the side of Oshiro's head but Oshiro sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Koltun throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Oshiro because Koltun loaded up on that one.
