Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ron James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gegard Sipowicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sipowicz has chosen Highway to Hell as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gegard Sipowicz!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sipowicz lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Ron James has been cut.
Sipowicz throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sipowicz goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
James throws a solid leg kick but Sipowicz takes the impact on his shin and smiles at James.
James throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sipowicz sees it coming and avoids it easily.
James misses with a few strikes there.
Sipowicz misses with a combination
and James counters with a big head kick but Sipowicz shrugs it off.
James thows a body kick. Sipowicz tries to catch it but that hurt him.
James misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sipowicz.
Sipowicz ducks under a wild hook from James.
Sipowicz misses with a low kick.
James swings and misses with a hook to the body.
James on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sipowicz throws a left and a right that both miss
and James counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

James shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
James controlling the pace for now.

James misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
James has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
James trying to control but he's not successful this time.

James is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sipowicz can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
James throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Sipowicz is squirming around, avoiding James's attempts to control the action.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

James breaks from Sipowicz's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Sipowicz is rocked!
James cracks Sipowicz with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
