Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edward Charles Brock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flako Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pull Me Under - Dream Theater. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gracie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brock moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gracie motions for Brock to come forward. Gracie throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Brock decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Brock drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gracie manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brock has Gracie in his guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gracie is nestled in close to Brock, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
