The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green lands an overhand right.

Gatho throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Green tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gatho is in Green's guard.
Gatho might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Gatho thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gatho throwing strikes from guard but Green blocks nicely.
Gatho wants to pass the guard but Green is keeping the position.
Gatho trying to control the position from guard on top but Green is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gatho postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Green wants to hit a switch here but Gatho passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Green there!

Gatho cracks Green with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Green keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Gatho throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Gatho scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Gatho tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Gatho wants to control the pace but Green is squirming around nicely.
BOOM! Gatho connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gatho cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
