Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Bartnik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Kyzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bartnik's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Soulja boy - Crank That. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nate Kyzer!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bartnik is defended easily by Kyzer.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bartnik looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kyzer is fending him off so far but Bartnik persists. Nope, Kyzer circles away and we're back to standing.

Kyzer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kyzer swings for the body but Bartnik moves out of range.
Bartnik avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Bartnik closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bartnik lands in his opponent's guard.

Bartnik decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kyzer, up you get!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bartnik closes the distance and clinches up with Kyzer, looking for a takedown. Bartnik pushes Kyzer against the cage but Kyzer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kyzer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bartnik.

Nate Kyzer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kyzer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bartnik.
Kyzer throws a series of punches but Bartnik avoids them all with ease.

Bartnik shoots in for a double leg but Kyzer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kyzer lands a nice hook to Bartnik's body. Bartnik takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Bartnik will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kyzer wants to stand but Bartnik is controlling the position.

Bartnik stands up and waves to Kyzer to follow him.
Tomasz Bartnik is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bartnik keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kyzer.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Kyzer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bartnik manages to avoid it.
Kyzer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bartnik tries to clinch up
and Bartnik takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tomasz Bartnik will probably get the nod.

Bartnik drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kyzer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kyzer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kyzer!
Bartnik manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Bartnik is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kyzer is just riding it out for now. Bartnik eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The fighters are battling for position here. Kyzer manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kyzer looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bartnik wants to control from the top but Kyzer keeps moving.

Bartnik gets to his feet - Kyzer follows without any prompting.

Tomasz Bartnik showed his dominance in that final round.
