The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Silva swings around for an armbar but Exterminator sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Silva's guard.

Exterminator has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Silva to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Exterminator is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Silva pulls down on the head and he's put Exterminator to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Eduardo Silva!
