The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apila tries to clinch up but Nakeda circles away and keeps his distance.

Nakeda shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nakeda was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Nakeda looking to control but Apila is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Nakeda wants to take Apila's back here but Apila is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Apila can't escape the position.
Nakeda tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Nakeda wants to control the pace but Apila is squirming around nicely.
Nakeda with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

Nakeda goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Apila is on top in guard.

Apila stops Nakeda from standing up.

Nakeda isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Apila stacks Nakeda on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Apila!
Nakeda tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Apila easily slips into full mount!
Apila lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Nakeda tries to improve his position but Apila has taken his back! Apila has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Nakeda tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Apila pushes Nakeda away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
