Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Khalidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter's entrance music is Run this Town. A fine choice. Khalidov has chosen Punks Jump Up To Get Beatdown as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Shawn Carter has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shawn Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fedor Khalidov!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalidov lands a body shot.
Carter with a jab.
Khalidov connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Shawn Carter has been cut.
Carter displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Khalidov throws out the jab.
Carter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Khalidov.
Carter tries to clinch up but Khalidov circles away and keeps his distance.
Carter misses with a hook.
Khalidov throws out a leg kick but Carter moves out of range and Khalidov only half commits.
Carter takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Khalidov throws out a loose jab but Carter uses good head movement to avoid it.
Carter looks to score with a jab to the body but Khalidov is just out of range.
Some bone on bone action there as Carter checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Khalidov keeps the fight on the outside.
Carter on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Khalidov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carter circles away quickly and effectively.
Carter falls off balance throwing a combination
and Khalidov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Carter just misses with a punch to the body.
Carter walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Khalidov checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Khalidov circles away from the clinch attempt
letting Khalidov counter with a right hand.
Khalidov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
No joy there for Khalidov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Khalidov.

Carter throws a leg kick
enabling Khalidov to counter with a crisp jab.
Carter keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Khalidov.
Carter takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carter closes the distance looking to clinch

and Khalidov counters with a head kick that drops Carter to the mat! Carter scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Khalidov circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Carter to the canvas! Carter doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Khalidov keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
