The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bale rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stevens moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stevens throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Stevens checks the leg kick.
Bale takes a swing at Stevens's ribcage but misses.
Bale fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stevens manages to avoid it.
Bale throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stevens throws a jab when Bale was well out of range.
Stevens connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bale tries to land a leg kick but Stevens saw it coming and moves away.
Bale feints and then cracks Stevens's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stevens down.

Stevens gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Stevens stalls.
Bale wants to break free but Stevens has control.
Bale pressing his opponent against the cage.
Stevens has Bale pressed against the cage.
Stevens misses with a body punch.

Bale wants to break the clinch but can't.
Stevens fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Bale tries to break the clinch but Stevens is controlling the position.
Stevens keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Bale's efforts to push away.
Stevens is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Stevens has picked Bale up - he's going for a ride! Stevens dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Bale kicks off Stevens and gets to his feet.

Bale lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stevens circles away quickly and effectively.
Bale misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stevens throws a looping overhand right but Bale ducks down to avoid it.
Stevens connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Stevens staying out of range there.
Stevens shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Bale misses with a low kick.
Bale misses the shot to the body.
Bale throws a jab but it's blocked by Stevens.
Stevens tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bale manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bale misses with a body shot.
Stevens lands with a cross.
Stevens looks to land a combination but Bale avoids it well.
Stevens lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Bale is rocked!
Crack! Stevens connects with the perfect overhand right and Bale falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Stevens!
