Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jack McClusky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rip James!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Steve Montenegro and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClusky scores with a shot to the body.
James keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McClusky works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
McClusky looks to score with a jab to the body but James is just out of range.
James steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McClusky.
James takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McClusky loads up on a big right hand but James slips the punch.
The fighters circling - James throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
McClusky throws a shot to the body.
James looks gassed!
McClusky looks to land a combination but James avoids it well.
James lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Oooooh!!! McClusky has knocked James down with a huge combo! McClusky steps away and waves a wobbly James back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
McClusky misses with a body shot.
McClusky misses with a two punch combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McClusky swinging wildly here.
McClusky scores with a crisp jab that stopped James in his tracks.
McClusky throws a right and a left that James avoids nicely.
McClusky misses with a wild body shot.
McClusky throws a shot from downtown. James moves away and avoids it.
James takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
McClusky waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract James.
McClusky misses with a few strikes there.
James slips under a jab from McClusky.
McClusky throws a body punch but James moves out of range.
McClusky throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

McClusky misses with a looping right.
McClusky tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but James was well out of range. Poor timing from McClusky.
McClusky is pawing at James, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into James's nose. James is badly hurt! McClusky pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! James tries desperately to hold on but McClusky is relentless in his assault! As James receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls McClusky away and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack McClusky!
