Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Mangum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mangum comes to the ring accompanied by Neutral Milk Hotel. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Patterson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Patterson on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Patterson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Hank Patterson has been cut.
Patterson moves out of range of the body kick.
Patterson misses with a double jab.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Patterson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mangum - the referee stops the clock and Patterson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mangum. Patterson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Mangum throws a shot from downtown. Patterson moves away and avoids it.
Patterson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Patterson blocks a head kick by Mangum.
Mangum takes a jab right on the kisser.
Patterson misses with a body shot.
Mangum throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mangum lands with a kick to the temple. Patterson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

A looping hook to the body misses from Mangum. Patterson does a little dance to reset his feet.

A nice leg kick lands there from Mangum.
Patterson misses with a body shot.
Patterson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Patterson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Mangum darts in and clinches Patterson up against the ropes.
Mangum lands a damaging elbow.
Mangum tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Patterson misses with a short punch on the inside.
Mangum keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Patterson's efforts to push away.

Mangum breaks the clinch.
Mangum walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Patterson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Mangum uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Patterson has time to react.

Patterson is rocked!
Mangum lands an uppercut, right on the button! Patterson tumbles backwards into the ropes, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
