The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva swings around for an armbar but Ansturm sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Silva's guard.

Silva drops back looking for a leg! Ansturm is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ansturm manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Ansturm's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ansturm's guard.

Ansturm scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Silva shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ansturm is trying to defend but Silva finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Ansturm looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Silva! Submission of the night perhaps?
