Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diziz Sparta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Lind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sparta comes to the cage accompanied by Just like you imagined - 300 theme. Lind comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ice Cube & Dr Dre - Natural Born Killaz kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparta misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lind stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lind wants it to stay on the feet.
Lind throws out a loose jab but Sparta uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lind swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sparta takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Lind takes a swing at Sparta's ribcage but misses.
Sparta steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lind.
Lind throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sparta sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lind throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sparta shoots for a takedown but Lind saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sparta shoots for a double leg takedown but Lind sprawls well. He's pushed Sparta's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lind throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sparta stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Lind fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sparta looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sparta takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sparta. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lind wants to stand but Sparta is controlling the position.

Lind seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Sparta throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Lind has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Sparta looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lind has picked Sparta up and slammed him! Sparta can't keep hold of the triangle and Lind manages to pass to side control!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lind wants to stand but Sparta has his arm trapped.
Sparta is looking to regain half guard here but Lind keeps moving and retains side control.

Lind tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Sparta has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sparta is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sparta is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
