Olafsson has chosen Twilight of the Thunder God as his entrance music. Jorma Kovanen has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jorma Kovanen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thorstein Olafsson!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovanen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Olafsson throws out the jab.
Kovanen chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Olafsson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kovanen but Kovanen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kovanen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kovanen there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kovanen forces Olafsson back against the cage and clinches.
Kovanen tries to pull guard but Olafsson won't allow it.
Kovanen keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Olafsson's efforts to push away.
Kovanen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kovanen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Kovanen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Olafsson defends well.
Olafsson throwing strikes from guard but Kovanen blocks nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kovanen has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Olafsson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kovanen has tightened it up now! Olafsson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
