Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frito Lei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ADAM ROBLES (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ROBLES has chosen WHO LET THE DOGS OUT as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lei feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to ROBLES's calf.

ROBLES is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lei's half guard.
ROBLES moves nicely into side control.
Lei is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lei is not content to let ROBLES control the position.

ROBLES is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lei is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
ROBLES is looking to take a break and control but Lei is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

ROBLES decides to take the fight back to the feet.
ROBLES looks gassed!
Lei is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
ROBLES on the wrong end of a nice hook.
ROBLES circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lei throws a push kick but ROBLES slaps the foot to one side.
Lei lands a front kick.

Lei's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Lei cracks ROBLES with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
An inside leg kick lands from Lei.
Lei tries to clinch but ROBLES is having none of it.

ROBLES jumps guard but Lei stands there with ROBLES around his waist. ROBLES gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The referee is keeping an eye on Lei - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

ROBLES takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

The fight stays on the outside here - ROBLES looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

ROBLES is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lei doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time ROBLES.
ROBLES wants to take a breather but Lei is having none of it.
ROBLES is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
ROBLES prevents Lei from standing back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
ROBLES is taking a breather. Lei says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

OK we're going to have a standup here. ADAM ROBLES hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Lei clinches with his opponent.
Lei scores with a shot to the side of ROBLES's head.
Lei lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Lei throws an elbow but misses.
Lei lands a body punch in the clinch.
Lei has ROBLES pressed against the cage, preventing ROBLES from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
ROBLES tries to land knees in the clinch but Lei avoids the damage to the body.
Lei lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Lei gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from ROBLES.
Lei lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of ROBLES backwards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Lei has ROBLES up against the cage in a clinch.
ROBLES tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lei smiles and moves away.

ROBLES shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lei pinned against the cage. Lei gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and ROBLES counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

ROBLES decides to return to a standing position.
ROBLES swats away the attempt to clinch by Lei.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and ROBLES counters with a big head kick but Lei shrugs it off.
ROBLES takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

and ROBLES counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lei won't be happy with that.
Lei seems a little lost for a moment, as ROBLES dominates the positioning.

ROBLES tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no ROBLES has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A lull in the action here as ROBLES stalls from top position.
ROBLES lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
ADAM ROBLES has got the better of the ground game so far.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lei wants to get back to his feet but ROBLES is dominant here and he's now got Lei's back!

ROBLES is looking for the choke from the back position but Lei is controlling his hands well.
Lei has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
ROBLES misses with a punch to the head.
