PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mc Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frenchy Fuqua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fuqua comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Diesal Power kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuqua staying out of range there.
Killer is looking to chop away at Fuqua's legs.
Killer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fuqua stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Killer misses with a wild body shot.
Fuqua misses with a two punch combination.

Fuqua throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Killer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Fuqua throws a body punch but Killer moves out of range.
Fuqua throws a front kick aimed at Killer's knee but Killer avoids it well.
Fuqua takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Fuqua uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Killer.
Killer scores with a jab. Fuqua acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Mc Killer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fuqua looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Killer pivots, looking for a leg kick but Fuqua is out of range and Killer settles back down.
Killer throws a nice looking combination but Fuqua bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Killer gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Killer stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Fuqua drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Killer gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Killer misses with a short punch on the inside.
Fuqua lands a body punch in the clinch.
Killer tries a knee to the head but Fuqua blocks it.

Fuqua has Killer pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Killer manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Fuqua keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Killer's efforts to push away.

Fuqua changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Killer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Killer makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Fuqua throws a low kick but it's checked well by Killer.

Fuqua can't find room to land a body shot as Killer controls the action.

Fuqua has picked Killer up - he's going for a ride! Fuqua dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Fuqua thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Killer's head.

Fuqua is working for a submission of some sort.

Fuqua moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Killer.

Fuqua looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Fuqua wants to lay and pray for a moment but Killer keeps working.
Killer gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Killer is refusing to be controlled, as Fuqua sits in half guard.
Fuqua might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Killer kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fuqua stops Killer from getting back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Mc Killer will probably get the nod.

Fuqua stands and steps away. Killer gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Killer lands with a nice combination. Fuqua backs away looking to recover.

Killer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fuqua has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Fuqua shoots in looking for a takedown but Killer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fuqua's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Killer connects with a leg kick. Fuqua looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Killer throws a lazy right hand but Fuqua sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Fuqua decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Killer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fuqua pulls his head out easily.

Fuqua has control of Killer's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Killer regains control of the situation pretty easily.
