Smith's entrance music is Hank Williams Jr - A Country Boy Can Survive. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Dude really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Smith sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Smith postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dude looks a forlorn figure.
Dude is in all sorts of trouble here.
Smith has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
