Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson gets caught flat footed, as McGruff shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
McGruff trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

McGruff drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jackson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jackson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jackson!
McGruff wants to control but Jackson postures up.
Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but McGruff keeps working.

McGruff drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jackson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now McGruff has Jackson in his guard.

McGruff is looking for a sweep. Jackson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
