Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slopey Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tien Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Smith might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hank Williams Jr - A Country Boy Can Survive. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith moves into range and clinches up with Hood.
Smith digs a right hand underneath Hood's ribcage. Hood let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Smith lands with a right to the head.
A short body shot lands from Smith as the two fighters clinch.
A short left from Smith.
Smith is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Smith seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Smith lands an uppercut.

It looks like Tien Hood has been cut.
Smith lands with a short shot to the head.
Smith lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hood or not.
Smith avoiding damage.
Hood tries to score a body lock takedown but Smith shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Hood looks gassed!
Smith throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hoods head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Smith stalling in the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Smith.
Smith is pressed up against the cage. Hood has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Smith down to the mat. Smith avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Slopey Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tien Hood.
Hood shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Smith but Smith pushes him off and we're back to square one.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith clobbers Hood with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Hood is rocked!

Smith has closed the distance and engaged Hood in a clinch.
Smith lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hood backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Smith creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Smith lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Hood.
Smith is pushing Hood up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Smith throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hoods head.
A short right from Smith.
Smith scores with a shoulder strike.
Hood is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?

That has opened up Tien Hood's cut even more.
Smith creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Hood with a big uppercut! Hood tries to clinch up but Smith pushes him back against the cage and lands another moster strike that crumples Hood to the mat! Hood covers up and Smith unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
