The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgar throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Loveladdy throws an overhand right that lands on Edgar's shoulder, as Edgar tries to avoid the shot.
Edgar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Loveladdy moves away.
An inside leg kick from Edgar misses.
Loveladdy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Edgar throws out the jab.
A head kick from Loveladdy lands but Edgar takes it in his stride.
Loveladdy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Edgar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Georges Edgar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Loveladdy shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Edgar manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Edgar can do anything to dispel that myth.
