The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pascal shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jaeger as he jumps to the side.
Pascal tries to clinch there but Jaeger circles away.
Pascal misses with a straight right.
Pascal is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Jean Pascal has been cut.
Pascal takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jaeger misses with a body shot.
Jaeger changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Pascal looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jaeger connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Jaeger looks to land a combination but Pascal avoids it well.
A punch lands to the side of Pascal 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A right-left combo lands from Jaeger.
Pascal takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jaeger connects with the punch.

That has opened up Jean Pascal's cut even more.
Jaeger scores with a jab. Pascal acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

The cut above Jean Pascal's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Pascal walks into a stiff left hand from Jaeger.
Jaeger lands with a nice body punch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pascal takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Jean Pascal's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Jaeger cracks Pascal with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Pascal looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jaeger finish him?

Pascal is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jean Pascal's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
