The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
De Troyer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Oliveira.
Oliveira swats away the attempt to clinch by De Troyer.
Oliveira throws a head kick that De Troyer semi-blocks.

Oliveira gets tackled into the cage by De Troyer. De Troyer maintains the clinch.

Oliveira's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

De Troyer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Oliveira manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Oliveira swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
De Troyer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

De Troyer moves in looking to clinch but Oliveira pushes him off.
Oliveira lands with a kick to the temple. De Troyer shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
De Troyer wants to clinch.
De Troyer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Oliveira connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! De Troyer scrambles back to his feet.

De Troyer moves away from the strike by Oliveira.
Oliveira thows a left - swing and a miss!
Oliveira looks to throw the jab but De Troyer is out of range.
De Troyer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Oliveira throws out the jab.
Oliveira keeps the fight on the outside.
De Troyer takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
De Troyer misses with a straight left.
Oliveira connects with a jab.
De Troyer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Oliveira can pounce on him.

De Troyer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Oliveira moves away.

De Troyer moves out of range of the strikes.

Oliveira clobbers De Troyer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Oliveira, right into the meat.
Nice uppercut lands for Oliveira. That snapped De Troyer's head back.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Oliveira, as that shot connected.

Oliveira lands a really nice looking cross but De Troyer seems unphased.
Oliveira is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! De Troyer had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Oliveira circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops De Troyer to the canvas! De Troyer doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Oliveira keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
