Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amanda Munroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen Voodoo People as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Munroe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Johnson throws a shot to the body.

Johnson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Munroe's half guard.
Munroe tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control.
Johnson wants to free his trapped foot but Munroe is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Johnson connects with a nice short shot to Munroe's temple.
Johnson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Munroe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Munroe is looking for a sweep. Johnson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Johnson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Johnson wants to take a breather but Munroe is having none of it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Thomas Johnson wasn't active enough on the ground.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Munroe enables Johnson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Munroe manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson stands up over Munroe, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Munroe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Johnson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Munroe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Johnson stands and steps away. Munroe gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Munroe leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Johnson shoots in but no luck this time.
Amanda Munroe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Johnson.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Munroe swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Munroe stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Johnson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Munroe goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Johnson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Johnson lands a nice short elbow.
Johnson uses his free foot to push down on Munroe's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Munroe.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Munroe is desperately trying to improve his position but Johnson has a good base and remains in mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Munroe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Johnson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Munroe manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Munroe looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Johnson has picked Munroe up and slammed him! Munroe can't keep hold of the triangle and Johnson manages to pass to side control!

Munroe sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Munroe keeps working.
