Spencer comes to the cage accompanied by Banana Joe Theme. The crowd seem to be enjoying Da MaN's choice of entrance music: Tenacious D - Beelzeboss. PaCo Da MaN acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer throws an overhand right that lands on Da MaN's shoulder, as Da MaN tries to avoid the shot.
Da MaN missing with a left hand there. Spencer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Da MaN misses with an uppercut.
Da MaN with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Da MaN clobbers Spencer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Bud Spencer has been cut.

Da MaN cracks Spencer with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Spencer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Da MaN can pounce on him.

Spencer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Da MaN is controlling Spencer's trapped leg to prevent Spencer from advancing to side control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Da MaN wants to slow Spencer down by chopping away at his legs.
PaCo Da MaN seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Da MaN connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Da MaN will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Da MaN takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spencer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Spencer misses with a straight left.
Da MaN attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Da MaN on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Spencer feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Da MaN's calf.

Da MaN gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Spencer to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Spencer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

PaCo Da MaN dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Da MaN throws a hook to the side of Spencer's head but Spencer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

A slapping leg kick lands for Spencer.

Spencer cracks Da MaN with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Da MaN falls to his knees and Spencer doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
