Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taj al Din (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). al Din comes to the cage accompanied by FEARLESS. The crowd seem to be enjoying Carwin's choice of entrance music: Tool - Vicarious. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin connects with a good right hand that stumbles al Din. al Din circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Carwin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
so al Din counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
al Din drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Carwin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now al Din has Carwin in his guard.
al Din has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
al Din looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carwin is one step ahead there.
Carwin lands a couple of digs.
al Din trying to control the position.
al Din keeping full guard, as Carwin tries to pass.

Carwin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Carwin trying to control the position from guard on top but al Din is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Carwin advances to half guard.
Carwin frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Carwin goes for an armbar but he's not got it… al Din turns into him and now he's in Carwin's guard.
al Din postures up in Carwin's guard and throws a big left but Carwin blocks it.
al Din drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and al Din jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

al Din wants to pass the guard but Carwin is keeping the position.
al Din has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Carwin is proving hard to escape from.

al Din gets to his feet. Carwin looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

A big left from Carwin misses.
al Din moves out of range of the leg kick from Carwin.

Nice uppercut lands for al Din. That snapped Carwin's head back.

Casey Carwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

al Din wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
al Din throws a quick inside leg kick.
al Din fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Carwin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Carwin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
al Din cracks Carwin with a right hand to the side of the head.
Carwin takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
al Din thumps Carwin with a low kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
al Din scores with a jab. Carwin acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Carwin avoids a kick to the body.
al Din throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Carwin looks gassed!

Carwin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by al Din. al Din obviously looking to wear him down.

al Din punishes Carwin's body with a nice straight punch.
al Din lands a left and a right that send Carwin crashing to the mat, dazed. al Din thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Carwin is rocked!
al Din throws a quick inside leg kick.
Carwin is still on wobbly legs! Can al Din finish him?
al Din getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Carwin swings away with a body shot that misses
and al Din counters with a huge left! Carwin is in big trouble! He's backing up but al Din isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Carwin from any more damage. A dominating finish by al Din!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Taj al Din!
