Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Caschera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pjotr Markov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caschera's entrance music is Crimson King by Demons & Wizards limited edition. A fine choice. Markov has chosen Drowning Pool - Bodies as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markov throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Markov scores with a leg kick.
Nice defenses there by Caschera.
Caschera shoots for a double leg takedown but Markov sprawls well. He's pushed Caschera's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Markov lands a glancing blow to the side of Caschera's head.
Caschera takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Caschera is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Markov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Caschera stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Markov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Markov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Markov shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Caschera eats them both and turns towards Markov to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Caschera dodges the punch combination from Markov.
Markov throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Markov lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Caschera. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Markov might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

and Markov counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Caschera is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Caschera doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Markov lands with a nice combination. Caschera backs away looking to recover.
Markov stalks Caschera and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Caschera's face. Caschera staggers backwards, shaken.
Caschera has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Markov.

Markov uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

and Markov counters with a nice low kick that buckles Caschera's knee momentarily.
Markov tests Caschera's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Markov lands with a straight right. Caschera didn't see that one coming.
Caschera has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Caschera takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Markov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A jab from Markov finds it's way through Caschera's defenses.

Max Caschera's cut is getting worse.
This has been an exciting period of action!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Caschera crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Markov - the referee stops the clock and Caschera gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Markov. Caschera manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Markov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Markov takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
