The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Andy Pain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pain darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Pain is working for a kimura but Pending is defending it quite comfortably.

Pain is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Pain is pressing down on Pending's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pending is holding on for now.
Pending is doing well to control the position and prevent Pain from advancing to side control.
Pain wants to pass the guard but Pending is defending well.

Pain is working for a submission of some sort.
Pending might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Pain is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Pending has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Pain is looking to defend but Pending has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pain! Pending pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pain taps out and this one is all over!
