Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nino Cabreros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey De Andreas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Andreas has chosen Free Bird by Leonard Skynard as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Nino Cabreros!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joey De Andreas!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Andreas takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

De Andreas bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cabreros's guard.

De Andreas keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cabreros's head.

De Andreas has gone for a leg lock! Cabreros slips out almost immediately though and dives into De Andreas's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cabreros is defended easily by De Andreas.
Cabreros shoots in looking for a takedown. De Andreas tries to sprawl out of it but Cabreros keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. De Andreas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round but I would say that Nino Cabreros will probably get the nod.

A momentary lapse in concentration from De Andreas enables Cabreros to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. De Andreas manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Joey De Andreas hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nino Cabreros.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cabreros, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
