Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nicola Tesla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waru Kuzuri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nicola Tesla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Waru Kuzuri!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tesla misses with a low kick.
Kuzuri waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tesla.
Kuzuri checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Kuzuri misses the jab.
Tesla misses with a looping left.
Tesla pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Kuzuri fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tesla wants to clinch up but Kuzuri keeps it at a distance.
Tesla throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tesla tries to close the distance and clinch but Kuzuri swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tesla throws a push kick but Kuzuri slaps the foot to one side.
Tesla swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tesla throws a head kick but Kuzuri moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kuzuri works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Tesla connects with a leg kick. Kuzuri looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kuzuri cracks a nice hook into Tesla's ribs.
Tesla tries to clinch but Kuzuri is having none of it.
Danga de danga de dang - Kuzuri scores with a four punch combination!
Tesla tries to land a front kick but Kuzuri steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Tesla moves in looking to clinch but Kuzuri pushes him off.

Kuzuri lands a left and a right that send Tesla crashing to the mat, dazed. Kuzuri thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Tesla is rocked!
Tesla finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Oh Tesla is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tesla backs away from a small jab...but Kuzuri lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Tesla crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Kuzuri with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Waru Kuzuri!
