PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nate Kyzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyzer comes into the arena with Flashing Lights blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nate Kyzer!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jordan Clark!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Clark.
Clark tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kyzer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Clark somewhat.
Kyzer stuffs the takedown.

The fighters circling - Kyzer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Kyzer leaves Clark with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Clark shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kyzer sprawls well. Kyzer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Clark gets slowly back to his feet.

Horrible takedown by Clark or perhaps it was just good defense by Kyzer which made him look bad.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Clark might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Kyzer has got the better of the exchanges.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Clark throws a strike but Kyzer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kyzer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Clark has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kyzer has managed to get both his arms back between Clark's legs - danger averted.
